juniper lee so copied jake long

juniper lee soooooooooooo copied jake long

reply

nah. they were developed at the same time and premiered a few months apart. It takes waaaaay too long to make an animated program fro one to be copied and then aired that close together. It's just a coincidence.
and most think Juniper Lee is a better show.

I think American Drangon is better, but I like Life And Times too. I mostly watch it 'cause Lara Jill Miller (Kari from digimon) plays Juniper Lee.

Also who the hell cares there's more important sh-t to worried about then who copied who's show.

yae they really did. THATGS WHY JUNIPER LEE is CANCELED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! American Dragon:jake Long is so much better. Juniper lee only has like 14 episodes, and American Dragon:Jake Long he at least 52 episdoes and are still airing.

That doesn't mean it's a better show. Mcdonalds sells to more people than a local burger joint, that doesn't mean mcdonalds food isn't any less crappier.

Jake did it first but June did it right!

I liked the premise when Jake Long premiered but I could never stand the show because Jake was so damn annoying with his mac daddy attitude. Juniper on the other hand I loved from the start.

From what I recall, Juniper Lee aired before Jake Long did. Not by far, but that's my recollection. Not that it really matters as they both had to have been in production for months beforehand.

As far as quality, I was much more impressed by Juniper Lee. It was very smart and clever. Jake Long, as so many other Disney shows do, pulled (pulls, I suppose) the "lowest-common-denominator-look-I'm-so-hip-to-the-bizzawl" type of humor and style that Disney has made so popular.

Why do people say junk like this?

Moreover, why is it that when Jun is called a "rip off," people's first order of duty is to always establish which show premiered first? I would think a more INTELLIGENT response would be to debunk the supposed similarities between the two shows.

Which should be easy, because Jake Long and Juniper Lee aren't very similar at all. A boy who turns into a dragon versus a girl with a magical bracelet. Yeah, real strong similarities there.

to xstrikezerox||| You don't know what you're saying. First of all, Juniper Lee has 40 episodes and counting you dumb crack. They had the idea in 2003 and Judd Winnick the creator knows friends from Disney channel (such as Steve Loter, producer of Jake Long). Therefore, it's obvious he told him of it and he gave away the idea to Steve. Also, Judd's daughter was getting married and had to stop production for a little bit. Turns out he spent too much time away and they had to cancel. You see, I look at a thing called books, catalogs, and Wikipedia. Either way, Juniper Lee is 10,000 times better, 5xs funnier, and 30xs better animated. Just to set that straight. And in Jake Long, NO ONE TALKS LIKE THAT! NEVER HAVE NEVER WILL! "I'm the mac daddy dragon of the NYC ya herd?" "P-Game" What the heck does that mean!??! "You back up off my grill before I start spittin out mad words?" WTF!

lol I actually thought Jake Long copied Juniper Lee except they made it suck more. And yes I cannot stand Jake's voice its so terrible, the sad part is that its the voice actor that does Zuko's voice in Avatar (though I hated his voice in the first season too)
Juniper's voice is done by one of my favorite voice actresses since I was a fan of Digimon's first 2 seasons. Anyways Juniper doesnt have its head up its own ass like Jake and the theme song is better too. Everything on the Disney line up is terrible actually, well most shows cranked out on most networks suck ass. Theres no charm anymore no flair no interesting features.
