Genuinely one of the worst TV shows I've ever seen

Occasionally I have no choice but to watch TV I hate. Casualty, Doctors, football games, Hollyoaks. Even crap like Cash in the Attic and Relocation, Relocation I can stomach. If there's nothing else on I can manage a few minutes of This Morning, or the abominable Loose Women.

My point is I hate this $#!+ but I can watch it. Homes Under the Hammer is different.

Lucy Alexander is just lovely, but even she can't make this dreck worthwhile. I'm struggling to think of a TV broadcast I dislike more.

Mr Barrymore you couldn't be more wrong.

Homes Under The Hammer is brilliant! I love it. It probably stems from the fact that back in 2004 I bought a house that needed everything done to it. The reason I bought it was it was the only house I could afford! I gradually did it up and the end result was so satisfying. I would never do it again though it takes up too much of your time.

These days I enjoy settling down and watching other people do it. That's why I like this show so much.

But the best daytime TV show is still Bargain Hunt though...

What makes you think I'll miss?

Well, I can see if you've been there yourself it might hold some appeal, but the way they insist on applying a "theme" to every subject is infuriating. So ten years ago you honeymooned in Hawaii? Right, we'll play the Hawaii Five-O theme on a loop, with a dash of the Magnum, P.I. theme, and a few Elvis luau records until Barrymore throws his *beep* ing shoes at the television and gets a nosebleed.

You once owned a leather jacket? Wow, then we can play Leader of the Pack and Born to be Wild. You're a postman? Return to Sender and Wait a Minute Mr. Postman it is then.

This doesn't annoy the crap out of you?
