How old are you?

I used to think Fosters was just a kids cartoon, but I love it! I'm 15. Am I just deranged or are adults into this?

reply

I'm almost 14, and I think it's cool!

I think Foster's is a great show. I am 20, and I caught the end of an episode one day. It was on again and again... I ended up watching if for nearly 2 hours!

I am 22 and I think Foster's is an a great show and is very imaginative! I am very thankful that someone (Craig McCracken) can create something better than the current shows on tv.
While I enjoy a select few of today's cartoons, I really prefer cartoons from the late 80's/early 90's and the classic disney shorts from the 20's-50's.
I can't wait for Foster's to come out on DVD, if it does.

reply

Did you see the DVD post(one of many, actually)? Cartoon Network has announced, and Craig McCracken confirmed this, that a DVD, a sort of "Best Of" thingie, would be released in November, though exactly what will be one it, especially in terms of "extras", is being kept a secret.

I will be 44 as of 07/30, and Foster's is my favorite show in tv. Only "CSI" and "My Name is Earl" come close. Good tv is good tv, whether it's animated or live-action, and Foster's certainly can hold its own, in terms of clever humor, satire and likeable characters with any live-action show I've seen.

I'm almost 14 and it's THE BEST cartoon since the 90's x-men!

Also my sister watches it and she's 20.

reply

The first episode was a one hour movie and this November(?) they are making another movie called Good Wilt Hunting.

reply

Almost 17, and, dude I love it. Then again, i'm hardly calling myself an "adult" but i'm not a little kid and i watch this show religiously. Like a lot of children shows out there, it's got some humor that can go over the kids head and make perfect comedic sense to the parent, or adult nearby. I just think it's fantastic.

reply

I'm 20 and I'm completely obsessed with this show.

It's great! I've babysat for 10 year olds who love the show... and I've talked to 40 year olds who watch the show!!!

I'm 14. I had my birthday yesterday. I watch this show all of the time, and many other shows on Cartoon Network as well. My mother is amazed that someone could have thought up such an original idea for a cartoon. She thinks it's a little creppy that Wilt is missing a limb, has only one working eye, and scars on his face(I think that's what they are), but he remains her favorite. I just love this show to no end! I'll sit as close as possible to the TV and become entranced with the Foster's world!

16 and I'm a huge fan of Fosters. Mac is the man! :)

Foster's is an intelligent and hilarious show that doesn't depend on just snappy one-liners or outrageous and puerile antics to entertain its viewers. Whether it is Eduardo subtlely calling Blue "Azul" (the Spanish word for blue) occasionally, or well-drawn and synthesized three-minute dialogue-less chase scenes, Foster's represents intelligent humor mixed with the perfect amount of laugh-inducing storyboarding to appease both the visual and auditory senses.

And by the way, Coco is my favorite. SO funny all the time, all the while using only several different inflections of the "word"... Coco.

I'm 26 and my wife is 28. "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" is one of our FAVORITE shows on TV. We hardly ever miss an episode. We also like "Avatar: The Last Airbender", "Kyle XY", "Mythbusters", and "Dirty Jobs". She also likes "What Not to Wear" and "Project Runway", but that's okay cause I'm a big fan of "Law and Order".

Try 47. Yes, I'm 47. I still kind of think the show is more child oriented but most shows for the younger audience can appeal to adults depending. I'd love to see the demographics of the viewers for this one from the ratings.

One other show I'm a HUGE fan of is also a Cartoon Network show: Courage, the Cowardly Dog. That was a very limited production as maybe it was too adult? Nah!

Heck, my father in his final years was watching a LOT of kids shows but in general. So maybe most viewers are senile?

HOWEVER this show is extremely well done and different and worthy of viewing. It still does seem a children's show so most adults won't ever watch it or check it out.

Enjoy the show. I'm going to a retirement home now. ;-)
