Flash forwards *spoilers inside*

OK so apparently I didn't know they were flash forwards and so I did not realize the man found murdered in the beginning (he didn't have much of a recognizable face to be honest) was actually Pete's friend that Mike "had killed later" into the movie.

So with that, I thought there were TWO murders, and Pete is accusing Mike of the wrong one. Gee, this could get interesting, I thought - what with the possible ways of revealing the truth, or twisting the plot even further. If Pete is mad now, how mad will he get if he finds who Mike really killed? But then I realized it was the same victim as he was dug out of the grave. Then it all clicked in and I was a bit disappointed.

Anyone else in the same boat and think the movie might have been more interesting if there were actually TWO murders?

It took me maybe 10 minutes into the movie to realize that, but I was not disappointed.

Your version would make a good story, though.
