Inspector Gadged was filmed downtown. Wonder Boys was filmed in Pittsburgh, too. I lived in the South Hills (in Baldwin) and the North Hills (Bellevue). I went to Duquesne.

reply

I recognized some of that too. I from McKeesport.

reply

woah, holy $#!+ dude, I'm from McKeesport too! Well, technically Versailles Boro, but yeah, same zip code, so, yeah, same $#!+ lol. Sorry about my language ^_^

I live in Cranberry, and believe it or not, I had a shot of being in that production of "The Music Man." A friend of mine was putting together a barbershop quartet for the show and asked if I wanted to sing with him. My schedule wasn't flexible enough for all of the rehearsals, so I had to decline.

I'll have to buy this movie to see if my friends in the quartet ever get any screen time!

Those are my two cents. Spend 'em however you like.

(The movie KingPin) It was a bowling alley in Trafford, PA actually (because I used to bowl league there.) and I also drove past the "apartment" Woody Harrelson's character lived in...had to divert a different way to work while they filmed it.

I live in the south hills, and when i went to rent some movies i saw it on the coming soon thingy. I was like wow. I remember when they shot Dogma. They shot it down the street from where i live... i think there is a Rite Aid there now. Oh and don't Forget Pittsburgh is famous for Night of the Living Dead.

All these movies you mentioned filmed in Pittsburgh and you forget Sudden Death with Jean Claude Van Damme? That took place in The Igloo!!! There was also another really good movie filmed here called 10th and Wolf with Giovanni Ribisi. A lot of it was filmed in The Strip District and Hartwood Acres.

By the way, I'm also from the Pittsburgh are... New Kensington if anyone's heard of it.

I never knew Dogma was filmed in Pittsburgh. My friends and I loved Jay and Silent Bob in college (Cal U of PA).

I once tried a dessert called "Death By Chocolate", but it only made me stronger.
