The film is now im limited release and I'll see it for the first time a week from now on June 16, 2006 at the Atlanta Film Festival. A lot of the cast and crew should be there so it should be a great homecoming of sorts.
When shown at the Boston Underground Film Festival (BUFF) it won a top award. If memory serves me it won Director's Choice. Bret's blog has more info...
I believe Psychopathia Sexualis will have an extended run in several cities such as Chicago during 2006.
But hey, don't rely on my rusty memory check out the film's web site for Bret and Tracy's up-to-date information.

I undertand the original book has been re-issued with many of my production stills used to illustrate it. (Haven't seen a copy yet but Bret says he has one for me.)

Your statement makes no sense.
Why would you say it was leaked since "Psychopathia Sexualis" has been shown in several film festivals and played in many theaters during 2006.
Then your use of the word "already" implies it has not been released, when it has.
Hope you get an opportunity to see the film as I enjoyed working on it.
