Hey all,

Can anyone explain the significance of the nightcap in the additional cut scene on the DVD? And/or the woman's reaction?

Confused as hell! :s

My take on it is that, for some reason, the man could only achieve orgasm by picturing his father with his nightcap. Why? Who knows, people are strange. The woman's reaction seemed to be a natural ebb and flow of response to her husband's own ministrations, which changed according to his thoughts.

I was also incredibly confused and intrigued by the Nightcap scene. It was certainly as disturbing as it was confusing.

Hello! I just saw your film tonight on Netflix. I can't be sure if anything was cut from it or not but I can certainly see how you would have had hard time shooting some of those scenes!
Still this is an incredibly fascinating look at the Victorian times and behavior. As a psychology buff and as a history fan, I applaud the effort your team took in making sure that everyone had accurate hair, makeup, dress and settings! Thank you and well done!
