Sounds like a bit of rip-off

To me its sounds like the creater of this flick was inspired by Get Carter fra 1970s. I mean stuff about a girl lured into the porno-industri, her death, and family member (uncle, brother etc) taking revenge against the people he feels killed her.

I'm a Republican, and thats my opinion on this matter.

And then it could also sound like Hit Man (1972).
But don't think that in either of those movies there was a 5 year old girl partaking in the killing...

This could be my chance to bond and become a valued member of the family

reply

I know that, but I mean the revenge againt the porno-industri part, that is not a new idear.

No, but try to mention 10 movies this last year where the idea for the movie is new.
I would say that's pretty difficult.

What is new anyway? you can always find some other story that is related...
In story reasearch they say that there are only 3 different stories in the entire world. All stories are just implementations of one of those stories. I never got around to investigated what the 3 labels are. But I bet 'revenge' is one of them. (perhaps 'power' and 'quest' are the others, although 'power' could be seen as a basis for all other motivations...)

Btw in Princess, the family member is not taking revenge against the people he feels killed her. So 'revenge' and 'porn' is the common demoninator (as in most other movies).

But the focus in Princess is not revenge, or the death of the sister at all, but the psychological effect the LIFE of the sister had on the girl.

Love, redemption and revenge, of there derive all the stories.
At least it is what a teacher of Literature was saying.

there is a pretty much universal plot that's featured in most revenge movies

this one more or less sticks to that plot, with a few nice touches
