Ending was unclear
Why would there be an explosion?
Could August really due because of the explosion? It does not look like to me, so how did he die?
looked like when he opened up the rabbit there was a cell phone timer and some explosives - that is why he was going to take the rabbit in himself and why he was calling for Mia to not go back in the house after it.
explosives in the rabbit could have set off a chain reaction somehow - ie if they were using gas in the kitchen to cook etc....
IMO - he was badly injured from the shootout and didnt have much longer - so if the explosion didnt kill him, my guess is that he succumbed to his previous injuries.
