Where's Multe ??

In the ending scene, why isn't Multe present on the beach ?
I felt that was unfair to him.

yeah he was cute.. liked how he was "alive" in the movie.. brought an element of imagination to the movie..

in fact, Multe survive. And became a pornostar.
(Beside jokes, Multe is one of best things in the movie).
