so i was just wondering what everyone's favourite soundtrack and age out of all of the myst series?

although the myst revelation music was highly boasted because of the colaboration between peter gabriel and jack wall but personally i felt it was a huge let down. all the other music scores in the past was way way way better than this, its a bit too hollywood, "curtains" was nice tho.

favourite age has to be edanna from Exile without a doubt, i wish they had expanded on that age more.

I liked pretty much like all the music for Myst III, especially the opening. My favorite age has to be either Amateria from Exile (cool ride) or Serenia from Revelation (although I still don't know my way around there after beating the game twice; I pretty much blunder around until I bump into the thing I want).

My favorite age is DEFINITELY Amateria. I gotta admit, after Exile, this one's kind of a let down. That game just seemed more attention-grabbing. (Though I liked the little nod to Exile in Serenia, where you can return to Atrus's study and see a flashback of the book being stolen.)

I'm fond of the Channelwood Age (classic Myst) as well - playing that one with free movement in RealMYST is wonderful. I seriously want my bedroom to be 100 feet high up in some tree. :-)

really? i didnt think it was a huge letdown at all! i loved Revelation. it is my favorite myst game ^_^. My favorite soundtrack is the revelation and the exile soundtrack, they are both great i cant decide. i have more then 1 favorite ages so..i cant really decide with one is my 1. favorite lol.

my favorite of all the times is the music of myst 3 exile...although the music of Riven was more suitable for the game i think....

I love all the Ages in all these games, but if I had to play favourites...Riven takes it by far. The second game was my favourite in the series, because I loved that sort of beautiful-yet-spooky atmosphere the whole place had. But my favourite music was in Exile...the soundtrack was amazing in that game.

It's only rock'n roll but I like it.

In Myst, Stoneship actually took my favorite age, much though I got sick of having to slog up the stairs in the dark to crank the battery.

In Riven, I actually liked Gehn's age the best, with the pink clouds and all that.

In Exile, I liked Edanna, although the Amateria ride was amazing.

In Revelation, I liked Haven the best of all.

As for the music, definitely the main theme from Exile, although Curtains was not that bad.
