People saying this is porn they obviously don't watch much porn

As for me a porn movie is that showing clearly penetration and fellatio, which you can't see in here. Holding a penis in her hand is seen but why that is porn? What happens then when in other movies with less sexual content the guy rubs his hand over her breasts and nobody thing is pornography? I mean, there is a clear discrimination about women showing their naked bodies frequently in any genre of films and men rarely appearing completely nude.
In addition, if we talk about the plot and how the story is brought to the viewer, anyone with a bit of brain can tell that is more about romanticism and eroticism rather than roughness or obscenity. I've particularly watched many movies within other genres (thrillers, horror, action...) with maybe less skin showing but with a more shocking and disturbing sexual content like for example simulating strongly violent rapes or sexual relationships involving physical violence and incestuous intercourses.

Otherwise, this movie have many positive things. The fact that for once a woman has a more active and dominant role in a sexual setting and is not just the man's toy. The way the actress is portrayed as an equal being, with the same needs, desire and urge for sex as men have. I really liked the two main actors as although beautiful and sexy, didn't seem taken from a playboy's cover. I mean, Lauren Lee Smith didn't have exuberant breasts, big butt and a fake Barbie face full of make-up and long extensions. Eric Balfour even having a great body I think has a very charismatic face and his other parts which have raised much polemic are not that unrealistic and enormous thing you see in XXX.

So in conclusion, if you still think that this movie is like porn, you might need to go and search for some XXX sites and compare before talking.

Agreed.

We Americans are a pretty prudish lot. A remnant of our Puritan heritage, I suspect. Most Americans watch very few foreign films, a significant portion of which include scenes of a sexual nature that involve more than just basic Hollywood T & A on display.

Many film-goers around the world find our fascination with seeing bodies shredded, flayed, beaten & torn in acts of glorified violence FAR more disturbing than seeing a woman take a penis in her hand (or mouth).

Sex is not only legal, (in most countries, anyway) it is an imperative of the human race & is necessary for our continued existence as a species. Most violence is illegal, is punished to varying degrees by almost every society on Earth, & is dangerous to human survival.

Yet we glorify violence in media while criticizing, even demonizing, sex in film, on TV, in books...wherever it appears. Showing a woman's naked breasts while she is impaled on a meathook in a "slasher film" is fine, but don't you DARE show those same breasts while her lover's mouth kisses her genitals.

I find this dichotomy to be disturbing & dangerous.

porn is all about the penetration and real sex there is nothing narative about porn ex is what drives pornography this film is clearly porn in and attempt to be a legit mainstreem film and it fails .You cant confuse emotion with logic porn is all about how a person feels for the content porn is one dimensional with next to no story and all about stimulation .Hollywood liberals will never learn that you cant fuse the two together and have people focus on story while looking at the pornography as just every day normal activity . When things get that graphic they stop caring and focusin on story and just purely focus on content .the people who make this crap have no imagination what so ever and should instead of focus on trying to make pornography as excepted as a story with narrative should try and make porn flicks with somewhat solid narrative .Pornography is real it requires no imagination at all something these idiots lack you dont need and kind of talent to make a porn flick what so ever they should stop acting like they are the exception .You arent going to leave anything to the imagination no need to focus on narrative you shoulndt get a special pass because you showcase your films at sundance .They wouldnt flat out show blatant porn at these things or get a give and award to people who would do porn stop trying to separate themselves from the smut peddlars because the reality is they are no different

Humankind cannot bear very much reality
