shareThere's a difference between the two...the newspaper in EE was good. This one isn't.
But, yeah, it was same exact thing.
You know what I think would have made a great spin on the plot? The newspaper is really an evil demon trying to lure certain heroic people with headlines about other people being murdered, only for it to actually be a trap. The people in the headlines were never the intended victims; the ones who receive the paper are the true victims the demon is after.
That's so Buffy.
