Theory - The Carrier was the Headphones/Tattoo guy

I just noticed something! Everyone seems to forget about the guy with the headphones and tattoo, but I'm convinced he is the source of the real infection! So here's my evidence, he is admitted to the hospital right before all the infection events begin. He displays similar symptoms to the other victims of the infection, basically taking like a crazy person and then having blood spurt out of his ears. Now here's the big thing, obviously he doesn't have any green goo, but there actually isn't any green goo it's actually red. The doctor who leaves at the beginning and comes back later and who has the red apple has a little monologue in the beginning about how we perceive color being dependant on the mind. This tells us that when characters start perceiving things as green their mind is infected. We see this with her as all the red things become green in her eyes when she is infected. Because no one is infected in the beginning we see the blood from the headphones man as red when it would have been green if we saw it from the perspective of an infected character.

Keep in mind this is a character that has that whole scene of getting admitted to the hospital and then does nothing for the rest of the film as he is in a coma and is shown on screen fairly often even being reintroduced to the audience again as a medical worker questions the doctor about him. I think people brushed him aside as the film makers just showing how the hospital was neglecting people who needed assistance, but he might really be the key here.
