I didn't care for the film, but god damn Amy broke my heart.

I was expecting a lot more from the film than I got, but with that said... Amy Adams brought me to tears in this film. She gave such a genuinely, naive performance and her acting in it was damn near perfect.

Hail to the king, baby.

That was the first of her three (so far) Oscar nominations. She's overdue, imo.

"Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?"

Oh boy do I agree. I thought I was always familiar with her work but after looking at her filmography, I decided to watch clips of her on You Tube. Watching just three clips from "The Fighter" literally blew me away because I was now able to see her range. An incredibly gifted actress, I feel she should be recognized for her work by the Academy by a greater degree. She is a Diamond in the rough!

I like her in everything she does, but she was really amazing in this.

It's worth seeing just for Amy Adams' performance alone...

I wasn't actually expecting anything big from the movie, I only saw it because of her.

I was hoping for more from the film, but overall it was an average film held up VERY well by Amy Adams. I absolutely love her and have for a while, she absolutely stole every scene she was in. Her happy-go-lucky attitude throughout the film was lovely but really builds up so that her breaking down in the hospital was heart breaking, she is amazing.
