Excellent...just a question 'bout the ending...

I understand everything about the ending, except the very, very end when Lina's standing on that mountain and looking out over the water. Her hand slides down the rock and she smiles, and then she smiles more when she sees the boat leaving. I'm pretty sure I get that she's smiling because Galiot's gone, cuz' it didn't look like she liked her very much, but I don't understand why she's up there and rubbing the rock.

It would have been so much better if Jacquou showed up and kissed/hugged her. It's just weird that the movie ends with Lina and not Jacquou since he's the main character and not her. Either way, it was really good.
