Will it play later to neighborhood theaters ????

I live nearby NYC and will see it there next weekend.
But will they eventaully open this in wide release ???
Or will it go straight to DVD and video???

probably not to many theaters since it is nc-17 and many theaters don't carry them, but they are playing in theaters near major cities like boston mass. and obviously nyc like you mentioned...
... when i wanted to see A dirty shame i needed to go to theaters near boston to go see it cuz little town theaters don't bother carrying something that they really won't get many people to go in, and probably don't want to bother with pissed parents who found out their kids snuck in.

It will be on DVD before you even get to the theatre! Get real! Nobody in a small town even knows and/or remembers what Deep Throat is! DEEP THROAT was a terrible movie. It's only because of the "storm" it kicked up that anyone even REMEMBERS it! The people who actually SAW it only remember ONE thing....
IT WAS AWFUL!
