I'm actually a fan of Harry Reems as opposed to Ms. Lovelace. He was great as the doctor, and played several more wacky doctors over the years. His best latter doctor-character was in Ginger's Sex Asylum. I consider him to be the funniest man in porn, moreso than even Ron Jeremy.

I can't think of anyone funnier, or anyone funny at all. Most attempts at comic porno acting that I have seen are pretty painful. Harry Reems really did have a talent.

Herbert Streicher is Reems' birth name. He didn't even make up his own porn name, someone else did and put it on a marquee. Actually, I plan on screening Erotic Adventures of Candy this weekend, so I look forward to that. But I have to disagree with you about the others, especially Holmes. Holmes was unintentionally funny most of the time--very different. I can't recall John Leslie in anything comedic, maybe a recommendation? P.T., I just don't like, and every part I've seen Spelvin in has been dark or villainous.

Heh, you summed up PT pretty well there, that's probably why I never liked him that much as an actor. As director, he has done a hell of a lot more good work. I have seen Erotic Adventures of Candy but I suppose I should re-screen it. Sometimes if we've been boozing, I just turn up the stereo and don't pay as much attention to the dialogue!

Leslie has actually been quite funny in a couple of roles I've seen: "Who Came in the Backdoor" is one that comes to mind with him playing a Sherlock Holmes-esque detective and his directorial deubut, "Nightshift Nurses", which in my opinion, is a true classic.
