Highly moving film about heroism and legacy
At first, this wasn't a story that grabbed me, even though it was based on real events. But somehow Eastwood brought it to life midway through the film and it never loses its vitality or poignancy thereafter. In the beginning, it feels like just another Oscar-bait war film, but in the end, its considerably more than that. I hope people have the patience to watch this film. Definitely worth it in the end.
