The breadth and depth of the guy's work just never ceases to amaze me, even with those films that I feel are less successful than others. Here he is in his mid 70's producing, directing and scoring music to companion pieces to the 1945 Battle of Iwo Jima from both American and Japanese perspectives. He has one imaginative, creative mind.🐭
