I saw it with my mom who is a horse trainer, and generally she is very critical of movies that involve horses...but she actually cried and was moved with this film as I was.

The thoroughbreds in this film were breathtaking and majestic, their muscle form and body strucutre was like looking a meticulously and carefully crafted sculpture.

Me, too. I know, it's just a horse story, but it's THE horse story. It's well photographed, well acted, and well directed. The movie filled my heart and made me cry and that's what I was looking for.
