breeders cup race

at the end of the film, as the film opens up ready for the big breeders cup race, it shows a statue of a horse. Anyone know what horse the statue is of?

Many US race tracks have statues of famous horses. Seabiscuit is at Santa Anita, Secretariat at Belmont Park, Barbaro at Churchill Downs etc.

The permanent Breeders' Cup trophy is a reproduction of Giovanni da Bologna's sculpture the Torrie horse. Created in the late 1580s in Florence, Italy, the sculpture is known as an ecorche or flayed horse, detailing all the horse's muscles. It isn't a famous race horse.

The Breeders' Cup trophy was cast from the original and the replica is owned by Breeders' Cup Ltd. It travels to the host track each year where it is displayed for the public, usually in the paddock or some other central location.

I have only seen the movie once and don't remember which racetrack they used for filming but I do see the Breeder's Cup statue in a scene on the movie website.
