The eight races ran that day were worth 14 million dollars. At first it cost 3000 of non recouped training fees to buy her. Then he lost her for 15 k. The assumption when he brought her back he offered the new owner both the 15k and the 20k his father owed him. She ran twice at two against fillies and would have not got into even the breeders cup distaff race if oversubscribed. She ran once and earned no points in a claiming race going 6 furlongs going 113. Now a short time later she runs 110 or 15 lengths faster and continues another half of a mile off of slow works and no preps. There would be no way the bad guy would come there looking to buy back a barren horse that he had no reason to fear. The race is a 4 million dollar race. That means the owner gets 2.4 million before taxes. Both the trainer and owner get 10 percent each. The owed the prince 120k. The two stable hands also shared 10 percent. Cale had 51 and pop had 39. He says I'm back with a win ticket? That's a joke. Not counting taxes his 39 percent would be worth a little less than 912000. Cale would get a little over 1140000. Her dad would get 228000. The jockey would get 228000 plus an additional 114000 of owning 5 percent and balone would get 114000. Then the taxes come in high and hard.

What an interesting post. I wonder what it means?

My answer told you the answer. The race was worth 4 million. The horse earns 2.4 then taxes, then paying back the sheikh and then splitting it. Cale gets more than half, pops gets about 40 percent and the other two split ten percent. Lets say after taxes and paying the sheikh they had 1.6 million the trainer and jockey each get 10 percent and that leaves 1.24 then the above mentioned split. The taxes could be more or less.

It's just that most of what you said is a complete foreign language to me. I'm not arguing (how can I if I don't understand?), I just don't speak horserace.
