KURT RUSSELL

You have to say why you thought they were the best actor- lol

I think that Prince Sadir and Cales teachers did excellent jobs!

Kurt Russell and Dakota Fanning are tied in my opinion

Kurt Russell was totally accurate with his feelings towards Cale. How can you not cry when he's holding her after she jumps off Sonador? or even when he was reading the letter at her school?

Dakota had some amazing scenes- one of my favorites is when they were up in the watchtower and she asked Kurt Russell what he thought-- "she looks big"..."that's mean- thats not nice- you shouldn't say things like that"..."w- ha-tt"

Dakota Fanning is AMAZING. The scene you mentioned at the end of your post....did you know that scene was improv????? It's mentioned on the extras/cast interviews on the DVD.

Dakota is a most incredible young lady.

Hard to say, I think everyone did a great job. David Morse did he usual wonderful job as the bad guy in the movie. Dakota was wonderful, I teared up when she says, "I love the stupid king" and after Sonador was claimed and she said, "She wasn't any horse, she was our horse." But I think Kurt was the best, the way he read Cale's story in class I couldn't help but cry.

I will have to say David Morse, simply because he is my favorite actor of all times. I have to admit, this is the first role he played, where I actually caught myself yelling at him for being so mean! Isn't that silly? He really made me mad, and then during the ending of the Breeder's Cup race, I found myself apologizing to him saying, "sorry David, you know you are my favorite but I have to go with Dakota and Kurt on this one!"

My Green Mile Man Brutal, (David Morse), I love that thing you do!!

Oded Fehr as Prince Sadir for making me drool for the 5 minutes that he was on screen and the (stunt)Horse - that was an excellent fall

Dakota Fanning

Yup, I think Dakota Fanning is the best in this movie like in all of her movies. Whenever she's on screen all other actors seem kind of blurry, no matter how famous they are. I'm a big Dakota fan and what can I tell you that this girl is amazing on screen and in real life. Of course I don't know her personally, but when you see her you can tell that she has a wonderful personality.

Kurt and Dakota were magic together. I love the way their characters connect more as the story goes on...their relationship was very realistic: a father who has trouble connecting with his daughter and a daughter who wants to be just like her dad. Kurt and Dakota nailed it.

My opinion is that Kurt and Dakota are tied, Kurt because of the classroom scene and when Dakota gets off Sonador. And Dakota because she handled the trick that the director and Kurt played on her in the tower real well. Plus she actually got into the part.

I also was surprised that Kris played this role so well, I usually don't like his characters they don't show enough emotion, but somehow it fit in this movie.

I hope you are referring to the deleted post because none of the posts on here said it was a bad movie. They were commenting on who was the best actor in it.

I did several times. Where Kurt read the paper in class. I still tear up when I see that part. The horse parts too, I am a horse lover and own a Thoroughbred gelding so that part is just so sad.

Definitely Dakota Fanning. Kurt Russell was alright but Dakota Fanning was amazing. Especially considering her age. Too bad she decided to waste her talent on Twilight.

I always like Kurt Russell, and RIP, Ken Howard, but David Morse commands the screen. Easily the best actor in the entire mooovie, other than the horse. Morse tends to own any movie he's in.
