Unusual given the plot line that this movie be rated 'R'...much less the DVD be Unrated...
I hear its a feelgood movie? What the violence & or sex levels?

No violence except a mild brief wrestling match.
No nudity. No drugs. Don't even recall any swearing.
A couple of borderline sexual situations involving mature 15 yr-old girl with terminal nerve disease. I would have expected PG-13; it probably would have been that if character was 18.
It probably would not be rated R. Unrated means exactly that. It simply has not been rated by the MPAA.
(Yes, nowadays, that usually means a more explicit version of a movie that was cut for a certain rating when shown in theaters, but not always.)
