How can I get a copy?

Where can I go to get a copy of this DVD?

reply

The (non-bootleg) DVD just came out here in Thailand...It only costs $US5 and has English subtitles. I think it's a Region 3. I thought it was okay, but not enough to keep...I'd trade it for something interesting. The Thai release is probably also for sale on Thai DVD websites, and I wouldn't be surprised to find it on ebay.

Good luck.

Just one problem.. you better find another site.

reply

Uups! Forgot to write the problem ;)
The problem is, it's in danish..

reply

Thanks for the info. I did eventually find it on the other danish site, axel?? which was also all in Danish. That was not so much of a problem as I even managed to work out what they were saying in their e-mails. More difficult was getting to the title as adam, adams, adam's etc was not sufficient and there was no way to type in the ae symbol. Had to go find it on another internet page and copy paste it into their search engine.

Delivery outside Denmark was no problem and speedy.

Adam's Apples is opening theatrically in New York on March 16th, Vancouver on March 30th, Los Angeles and Boston on April 13th, San Francisco on May 11th and Denver, Portland and Austin on June 1st with more dates to come... see it on film, it's shot in scope and looks great on screen. Visit www.outsiderpictures.us for more information.

The DVD rights for US/Canada now belong to film movement (www.filmmovement.com) and will be released to subscribers (new film every month) sometime in 2007. The month hasnt been stated but march thru may have been listed so it will be in 2nd half of year. Film movement generaly releases for sale to non subscribers a couple of months after shipping to subscribers.

Go to www.filmmmovement.com. They are releasing the film in October as part of their International and independent dvd subscription series. They actually have a pretty good lineup and I was subscribed to their service for a couple of years. They send you a new film each month that they find at international film festivals. I think you can buy single titles of theirs through them and through Amazon after they've been released to their members.

This movie was just released in the United States as the October selection by Film Movement. I believe there is usually a couple of month delay from when non subscribers can purchase but check out www.filmmovement.com

It is now available as this month's DVD on Filmmovement.com Check them out
