Goof ?

I don't have the DVD here so I have to answer from memory. I do remember that I asked myself the same question, however, I don't remember the exact situation because he was bleeding several times and went to the hospital several times. First, the last bleeding was so severe that I think he was bleeding out of both ears. Secondly you might have confused this with the last scene where he was treated for the headshot he received. The bullet went through his left eye and exited his skull through the left side, so the bandage covered his left ear.

Anyway, even if the bandage was on the wrong side earlier, I doubt that this is a goof. Why? Because this isn't a random action movie where the main character had several wounds and then some bandages got misplaced. In this case he had multiple scenes where they had to spill fake blood out of his ear on several occasions. I think an actor would remember this inconvinience very well and would point out the mistake to the rest of the crew. Unless they shot the scene with the bandage first of course.

Yep, the bandages were for the bullet wounds.

The doctor mentioned him "bleeding out of ever hole in his head"
