Who gets to eat the food?

The HUGE buffet of wrong food that she displays on the table.....there are straving kids in China ya know, lol. But for real; the food is not healthy, but do they just throw it? :O

I wondered that same thing VCR!
I really think that is such a necessary part of the show. No one can really grasp what a weeks worth of food on a table, should look like anyway so it's pointless. It's done for shock value. Frankly those tables of food always look so good. LOL I bet the crew chows down on it. Any food is ok in moderation. calories in calories out :)

Are you watching it now? lol!

When I saw that I was thinking the same thing. There's a lot of homeless people who have nothing to eat and to see this stupid lady throw all that food to the trash can makes me angry. All that food may not be healthy but its still food.

I am glad someone thinks like I do! I cannot STAND waste of any kind. I sincerely hope someone eats that mountain of food. She threw some of it on the floor and then had the couple put the rest in a trash bag. SHEESH. I think the list is just fine, all the food does not need to be represented on the table each and every show. I think we get the message by now. There are starving people in this world.... makes me see red the waste.

I think the same thing on the Food Network with the food they fix...who eats that?

Makes me craaaazy!!!

Ya know, I first started thinking about this when someone wrote in to a magazine. Apparently some wedding reality show wasted flour, eggs and etc. on a huge wedding cake, only to throw it at one another :/ I was furious like the writer when I read that.....sick. Then a fews years later I started watching You are What You Eat....the saga continues.

Oh dear. Such wonderful cake wasted and ruined. *huge sigh*. Yes, indeed the saga continues. Shame on them. We compost things like veggie and fruit peels, coffee grounds and the like. Not food. But we can use that compost on our garden next year. We try very hard not to waste anything. We recycle, too.
But these shows are driving me NUTZ!!!!

Thank you. ☺☺

reply

wow, really you guys? it's not like they use rare, non-renewable resources to bake a cake. it's not wasting it, if they enjoyed it.
