Didnt find it funny at all. But thats just me

This is exactly what it says. Didn't find it funny at all. But thats just me.
Are these the guys who made Corner Gas? Cause if they did, they got lucky with that. Unlike Robson Arms or Jeff LTD

no its not the same writers as corner gas, brent butt does most of the writing for that show, they just use like all the same actors that's all, and i do find it less funny than corner gas, i think its more dramatic than it you know

Not every episode is funny. Some shows are more deep than others.

it's definitely an acquired taste, but i like it. i wasn't that thrilled at first and then i netflixed season 1 and that little kid w/the glasses trying to hook his mom up w/mark mckinney had me hooked. that was hilarious.

it's a soap. soaps generally have comic relief and that's it as far as comedy goes. i enjoy it, but i certainly don't expect it to be anything like CG. that's apples and oranges.

yeah, it's more seriocomic, there are so many points where it is very serious, and yet...

Grandma Tan...I mean, how can you NOT laugh hysterically at Hal and his roommate getting her high? Not to mention most of what she says in subtitles.

And Hal in general,

And the kid getting his mom hooked up?

And half of what happens with Bobby and Bobbi? (too much comedy mixed in with the serious stuff)

And Sault? (how do you even GET there?)

and the two nerds "fracking" it up?

It's a little more like British humor sometimes, you just have to get it.

I find most of it more subtle.
