Every patient he has he oohs and ahhs and tells them how gorgeous they are or how perfect their body is. All of his sexual innuendos and comments are completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I'm surprised he hasn't had a sexual harassment suit brought against him.

I never even thought about the fact he hasn't had an obese patient on tv. I'm sure that has alot to do with the producers of the show. The comment that just put me over the edge was when he had the sisters on the show recently and he told their husbands and them that he would give them huge melons. UGH!! I totally agree about his weird clothing, although I'm not so sure that it is as much 'designer' as it is dumpster lol. It looks like rejects from the 60's. The loud shirts and the brightly colored pants...screams gay! I don't mean to stereotype gay men but no straight men would wear that.

He acts very silly sometimes. He's a good plastic surgeon, and seems nice, but he's kinda goofy. Like when he wanted to get the daughter into show business, just the two of them, he didn't want Hayley involved at all. It was going to be "their thing". Seemed weird.

I had to have surgery to fix a birth defect, and my doctor was wayyyyy more professional. He did not comment on any other part of my body besides the part he was to fix. Dr. Rey comments on other parts of the patients bodies, which isn't what they are there for. In one of the shows he comments that his staff said cannot help patients pick implant sizes anymore...
Ugh, I remember when a girl and her fiance went to see him about a BA and he said if she was a car she would be the porsche, or something. Saying she has a fantastic body. Uhhh... I wouldn't want a guy that told me that to be in the same room when i was naked and asleep.
I was flabbergasted when I first heard his comments, also. But, would you rather have him look at you and recoil in horrer? I'd rather have him say my body is good looking the way it is than have him start rattling off all the things he could fix with surgery. He went out of his way to do one BA going through the belly button, because her stomach and hip areas were already fine.
That woman must have hurt for weeks! I do think he needs to tone it down a bit, and also start wearing less foppish clothes to work. They showed his closet once and it looked like a rainbow was trying to escape.
And, in conclusion, I think a lot of this show is scripted. You can't tell me that they allowed cameras in to film their personal problems. Normal people would tell the camera people to *beep* off and leave them to sort it out themselves.

If my Dr made crass comments like Dr Rey or as you say, recoiled in horror he would be fired on the spot and reported to the AMA. My Dr is very sweet and personable and doesn't say inappropriate things, as all Dr's should.

Yes, I do agree with you about his comments,appearance, and unprofessionalism. Do you think he does it more when he's on the show? And tonight he told the patient that he applies scented baby oil and two colognes. Yikes!! He must never have patients who have allergies. My doctor's office asks that we avoid any fragrences when coming in for an appointment.
He did say on one show that the women wanted boobs now that totally look false. Maybe for the porn actresses, but for regular patients? Hard to believe that a woman would want to advertise that they are carrying around false boobs. Oh well...

He creeps me out too. Completely OTT compliments. All those hugs and smarmy comments, which I think are inappropriate. He gives all those women really fake looking boobs and then oohs and aahs about how wonderful they look! I think the boob jobs look dreadful most of the time. Really plastic and unnatural looking. Haley's boobs are truly awful! Massive, fake boobs with visible implants on a bone thin body.
I think Doctor Li does the best boob work because she seems to understand a woman's body whereas Doctor Rey is focused on churning out Barbies.

Does anyone remember when he met one of his patients for kick boxing or jujit-su or what ever it was and he ended up kicking her in the face? then the next day when she went in for her surgery he was doing all these moves down the hall?
