Leadership and Uncle Adolf

Colleagues and I are doing some research on leadership, and want to use a quote from Uncle Adolf that encapsulates a leader discouraging "intellectual stimulation" in others.

I vaguely remember a line from Uncle Adolf that would be great for our upcoming presentation, however I don't have verbatim memory.

Can anyone help?

Hitler says something like he doesn't want others to think as "he has all the ideas for Germany."

Does anyone remember this - and perhaps the few lines before or after this quote?

Much appreciated.

Hi there,

I think the bit you are referring to is a meeting between Gregor Strauss and Hitler.

Gregor: Oh, believe me I know, I go out into the organisation and I do the work.

Hitler: You are splitting the party.

Gregor: We are a party of National Socialism we exist to take away the province of Financiers, Businessmen, Jews.

Hitler: You think you are the voice of National Socialism? What do you think I am? A drummer? Drumming up business? Let me tell you, my friend, if I am a drummer, I am a drummer that will make the party march to my tune. And you are nothing! (Geli Enters)

Hitler: Geli, you have a new dress.

Geli: Do you like it? (Gregor leaves) Is he always like that?

Hitler: Who Gregor Strauss? He and his brother have ideas how to run the party, but let me warn you little Geli, I am the only one around here who's allowed to have ideas. We are starting to appeal to respectable people and respectable people like tough action, but not too much.

Thats about it, something else at the end about 'Thats why I put Goebbels in charge of propaganda.'

Hope this is in time for your project.
