Total crap

I felt things creeping out of my skin when I saw this. I even heard
voices inside my head (telling me to commit suicide for being stupid
enough to waste time to watch it). Why? Because this movie is total
crap, so horrible in every possible way. It says "Comedy". What? Where?

Not at all funny. No good horror. The incredibly bad story mixed up
with the bad acting and the unfunny punchlines really makes you want to
kill yourself.

Amateur student-film, nothing else. This movie is absolutely NOT worth
anything in life except total destruction. The ones leaving this movie
high rating is nothing but the people involved in this movie.

ps. thats my review of the movie and really hope it will be accepted by imdb for publication, because it's the only truth there is about this movie and to prevent people from watching it.

My mate Colin developed a scary-looking rash last night in what we suspect was a reaction to having to sit through this.

Hehe yeah. I rented this randomly from blockbuster. BLOCKBUSTER!!! can you believe it? I'd fail this as a student film dammit how the hell did it get into blockbuster

So, you work at Blockbusters and they don't have this film, eh?

So this is presumably a figment of my imagination then? http://www.blockbuster.co.uk/134448/dvd.aspx

And you've never seen it, but can confirm it's crap, can you? I'll certainly be coming to your store for recommendations in future. Watch out Jonathan Ross, your job's in jepoardy...

It's one thing to hate a movie so hard you prolapse. Everyone feels like that about some movies.

However, it's quite another to put easily-disproved statements about a film on the IMDB. It makes you sound like a petty twit with some private vendetta rather than a legitimate dislike.

True this film is terrible, i love the silly sub-low budget horror films but this is just toss. I'm sad enough to be watching the 'behind the scenes' doc though and the director/writer/producer guy comes across as very smart and funny, its beyond me why he wrote this script? its the acting and script that make this unbearable. The main actress 'lucy' is pretty good and has that b-movie sleeze about her but everyone else is useless. Imagine you're lamest teachers getting together for 'after school acting club' and trying to make a gory horror film. I love the shift from camera footage to actually using the backdrop of whatever shameful effects application they used for the stupid looking red stringy doggy bloody thing that climbs on the walls.

The good; the laugh track gag, the leading lady's figure, the basic concept.

The bad; wasted budget on strobe lighting rigs to simulate gunfire from props already firing blanks (one or the other guys, or just cgi the flares and flashing if you must have that too), building hotel rooms instead of renting them, cgi corridor tracking shots instead of using a real corridor and anything with wheels on it, a cop-out strip routine in a hard rated movie, an exterior of the titular hi-tech house that is blatantly an ordinary house too small for the vr-id-monster it's meant to be (should've built a model of it to blow up at the end instead of building things that were already accessible), a terrible explosion of the said house at the end (see previous bracket note)...

I see in this a team who when thinking about it had more sense than money, but later somehow ended up with more money than sense and mis-used it in a way that pushed the films envelope in all the wrong places and bent it all out of shape.

This film is terrible. Anyone combing critics posts for leverage to claim a personal vendetta are taking it personally and are involved or know someone who is involved in this film.

Don't react. Reflect.

Pat,

I have such a fond place in my heart for TrashHouse. It gave me my first big role after doing a handful of student and indie shorts. TH gave me the confidence to pursue acting and I don't know if I would have continued acting which led to writing/directing with my production company without the role of Lucy Sweet. We all start somewhere.

I still watch TH from time to time and reminisce on the amazing two weeks I had with the whole cast and crew. Zombies. Chainsaws. Pig guts... who could ask for anything more?

I wanted to let you know that, while I haven't had the chance to work with you again since TrashHouse, that I can't wait for our schedules to realign so that I may. Here's to BrainBath... :-)
