Republic Commando books (spoilers)

Hey, guys. This game came out a while ago, and I'm sure not too many people are going to read this, but if you want to find out more about the Republic Commandos, I'd highly reccommend the "Star Wars: Republic Commando" series by Karen Traviss. I own the first four books, and now I'm reading the third one.

As a disclaimer, the series follows another squad called Omega Squad, formed of four soldiers who were the last remaining members of their squads on Geonosis. Their training sergeant was not Walon Vau, who trained Delta, but actually Kal Skirata.


The first book takes place right after Geonosis. It's called:

Republic Commando: Hard Contact

The second one takes place a year or so after Geonosis:

Republic Commando: Triple Zero

The third one is about a year and a half after Geonosis:

Republic Commando: True Colors

The fourth one is two years after Geonosis:

Republic Commando: Order 66

And there is a fifth one in progress:

Imperial Commando

The books are really good, and aren't too long. Most are about 400 pages. The first one is pretty quick. I'd highly reccommend these books, and Delta Squad make appearances in book #2 and #3. I think they're in Order 66, but I haven't read it yet, and I'm currently loaning it to my friend, who loaned me #1 and #2.
