Temuera Morrison in Battleground

Anybody else notice Temuera Morrison, who did the voice for Jango Fett and the Clone Troopers in AOTC, did the voice for the Clone Troopers in this game? I thought that was cool, I wasn't expecting it, it helped put me more into the game. Nice touch. If they keep making videogames featuring Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and the Clone Troopers over the coming years, it looks like Temuera Morrison will be picking up some nice checks with his voiceovers over the years! lol

Actually, I just double-checked the credits for the game, and Temuera Morrison's name does appear for the voice of the Clone Troopers. It's a nice touch, as you said they could've went cheaper and got a sound-alike, but they went straight to the source for the Clone Troopers voices. I don't think anybody's gonna rent or buy the game because Temuera Morrison does voiceovers, obviously, but it does help put me further into the game while I'm playing it.

Very nice indeed. I feel stupid for my earlier
post, ah well... didnt completley sound like him,
on the other hand, it doesnt really sound like
him to a 100% when he did the new voice for
Boba Fett in the Orignal Trilogy on DVD.

Heh-heh, they misspelled his name in the credits
in the game.

Don't feel stupid, my friend. An honest mistake, after all Temuera Morrison's voice is filtered in the game, as if he were speaking through a Trooper helmet. We hear practically all of Jango Fett's dialogue on AOTC without his helmet on, so I could understand it sounding slightly different. But since we know it's him, isn't it cool? Hearing Temuera Morrison as the voice of the Clone Troopers just puts me further into the game. It's cool when you're playing as the Trade Federation as well, especially on Geonosis, because you'll still hear the Clone Troopers ( Temuera Morrison) speaking amongst each other during battle, issuing orders to each other. I'm still enjoying this game, and having Temuera Morrison doing voiceovers just adds a nice touch. I wouldn't be mentioning his involvement in the game if I thought the game sucked! lol

That's correct, Temuera Morrison also did Jango's voice in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. Good game, that. I own that one on PS2 myself. Almost worth having just to see the cut-scenes, all done by ILM as CGI.
