Please help save Star Wars Battlefront...

As some of you might know Star Wars Battlefront 1 for PS2 Online has been down the past few days... Well I've been talking to reputable sources at both LucasArts & GameSpy... LucasArts says the outage we are experiencing is a technical issue with GameSpy that they are working to resolve, and that GameSpy reported to them everything should be working by today (yesterday the 18th). So "YAYYY!”... Right? Well then GameSpy says they have spoken to LucasArts and can confirm that LucasArts has declined to renew support for the PS2 version of Battlefront 1, and that they will be shutting it down around mid-October... WTF!?! ... So fixing the server for now is irrelevant, it is just a Band-Aid on inevitable bullet-wound in the head of Star Wars Battlefront 1 on PS2 Online… That’s why this petition was started, so everyone who cares enough please sign…

I dont really play the first one anymore but im just curious. Did they ever put it back up or is it permantly gone.

It was only temporary. I believe it was a technical problem on Gamespy's end, but don't quote me.
