i did not see it, and do not wish to, but i can honestly say it sucked balls, and if you disagree.. go get hit by a bus.

i disagree cause its a great movie.even though there were mistakes in it.But my opinion its a great movie.Ya'll say what you think.

Here's a mistake some of you may have missed: At the very end when Hayley pitches the ball to David, watch Mac. Surprise! He doesn't even try to catch the ball. He sort of lifts his glove halfway toward it and then sets it back down. It would have been hilarious if it had hit him in the face.

Just because second grade was too hard to pass 20 years ago doesn't mean you should just give up. I say you should go back and pass arithmetic and spelling. "effense" should be "offense," and "havn't" should have been "haven't."

this james guy keeps switching from being your best friend to being your boyfriend. make up your mind or stop lying. the movie sucked, get over it. it was a piece of crap that obviously had about a 10$ budget, being as they apperently had to pick a cast of actors/actress' that were has beens before they were even discovered. it was a total rip-off the original, and the third one will most likely be a rip-off of the rip-off, which makes it doubly suckish. i would seriously stop bragging about your bof friend/best friend being in this d-grade movie. for his sake at least. whoever played the lead female should have stuck with modeling, and everybody else should have stuck with wishing they were famous, which is what they are doing now, only this time around they have a cruddy movie to be embarrassed about while they dream.stop sticking up for it and just admit that the only good thing about the movie was max jones

Sadly, I watched it. I was hoping that it was gonna be cute and funny like the last one. Oh Mi God! It was like they just grabbed a bunch of kids from the street and told them to start reading lines. *shivers* And why screw it up with some little girls. WAIT WAIT. Before anyone starts bitching me out let me say I am a woman. I agree we can do somethings, but jeez stop pushing the PC crap.

shareI agree with Tianarena. Sandlot 2 was a good movie. It wasn't as whimsical as the original and the previous poster was right about the PC overload but I liked the girls in it. Sam Burton is stunningly attractive and if there's any justice she'll do lots of other movies. I think they did as could as they could on a restricted budget and I think the bald cat and the Retriever made me laugh more than anything in the original. So let's be fair guys, Sandlot 2 wasn't a classic by any stretch of the imagination but it was certainly good!

LOL! I totally agree with you byoung88. The 1st one is way better, the 2nd is just like a really bad remake of it. The part where that girl gets hurt is freakin' hilarious. I thought she was throwing up. It was so fake, he barely touched her.

heres to creekboy, "beuty is in the eye of the beholder". personally, i didnt think that burton was that pretty. then again im a girl. what i do know, is that she couldnt act. being pretty doesnt make you a good actress. take hilary duff, or jamie lynn spears. both are attractive in their own way, but neither of them can act to save their lives. i say if there is any justice in the world, she will just go back to modeling, and stick to WATCHING the movies

Watch the movie before you critisize it.
No, really, don't bother watching this movie. It's an exact re-hash of the original that offers nothing new. The story is exactly the same with different props. The acting was Ok, but the story was The Sandlot with girls added in.
"She's, like, a biscuit older than me..."
Ever seen El Dorado, or Rio Bravo? Both movies starred John Wayne, but had the same story line, with different actors. Sandlot 2 is similar. I liked it. Much better than Sandlot 3 in my opinion, although I do have to agree it is pretty much a rehash of Sandlot 1.
