What are the differences between the Chinese and US Releases?

the American Version cut out more boring parts, basically more actions I guess..but Both version sucks!!

The beginning and ending scenes are different, and snippets were cut throughout the film. The largest omissions are the scenes between the General and the Goddess (Destiny) before the forest encounter where the General's future is discussed in more detail and the development of the romance between the Princess and the General at the pavilion -- the audience is left with an ambiguous impression as to who the Princess really loved in the original version while the condensed (U.S.) version makes it very clear that the Slave is her true love.
