is sean connery the voice of the general? it has to be....

I think it is. I just asked that same question on a different thread. It has to be him or someone doing one hell of an impersonation of him. Connery's voice is so one of a kind- I'm almost positive it is him.

I dont think it was him but that voice sounded rediculous I couldnt take the movie serious.

I thought the same thing at first, but the guy doing the dubbing, sounds much younger than Connery. He has a very recognizable voice, and after watching the movie I knew it wasn't him, just someone trying to sound like him.

Oh my god! I just watched the movie and came here looking for the answer to this! Whoever did the dub it didn't fit in with the movie at all. Utterly ridiculous.

The voice was crazy... I thought it was Sean Connery as well, or someone who sounds a lot like him. Hiroyuki Sanada does speak English, they should've had him re-record his lines instead of that voice. I wish we had just watched it normally, we had the captions on and were laughing the whole time.
