I need someone to explain the end...and the middle...and the beginning. On second thought, forget it.

1. i think the writers wanted the girl to finally fall in love with the Crimson general after all, because well, he did give his life for her despite openly declaring her love for her rescuer half way thru the movie !!

2. Somehow the writers settled for a semi-Hunchback slant, albeit a handsome one: who was on death's door one minute and racing against Time the next.

3. Then there is the bad general with a childhood psychosis leading to genocide, all because of a stolen dumpling (where is that parody?
