If the Manticor is an indian(meaning India) creature than why was the movie done in Iraq.
shareIf the Manticor is an indian(meaning India) creature than why was the movie done in Iraq.
shareBecause in this movie, it was a Persian creature.
And they wanted to do a movie about American troops vs. a monster - we don't have troops fighting in India.
Yet. :p
Well, they could have made it so that it was UN Peacekeeping troops under command by Americans being ambushed in the Kashmir part of India.
shareThey could have. But it would appear that they wanted to set it in Iraq. o they did. :) Manticores are make-believe anyway, so it doesn't really matter too much where they (don't) exist.
shareThey couldn't use UN troops because UN troops' guns are carried unloaded to prevent accidents. Have you ever heard of UN troops shooting at anyone?
shareActually the manticore is from Persian mythology, not Hindu.
