Manticore in Steve Jackson's Sorcery

I remember the old Fighting Fantasy gamebook series Sorcery.The first book the Shamutanti hills had a Manticore on the cover.The Manticore's lair was the final difficult obstacle to overcome in completing the book.

I remember that one! Unfortunately, I fluked my way through it first time. I used to rate the books in large part by how many "times" it took me to beat it.

Best ever game book series in my opinion. Glad to see they restarted the series. I still have many of them.

Was also a Manticore in Deathtrap Dungeon and Master Of Chaos ;) Libra be with you.
