Needed more monster

The human characters were thoroughly uninteresting, the monster needed more screen time. Having the monster unseen for most of the movie, works in Jaws, Disappearance, and Cloverfield, but not this movie. I wanted to see more of the manticore because it's basically a big kittycat with wings and I love kitties.
