If you had to pick?

If you had to pick between these who would you pick to date (possibly marry)

Tom and Paul

Michael Weatherly and Christian Kane

Michael Weatherly and his character Tom

Or...

Christian Kane and his character Paul?

reply

We have to pick one from each group? Or just one?

Well, I'm bias, so I have to choose Christian Kane LOL...
Close second would be his character, Paul.

I haven't yet seen the movie - soon so I can't comment on the characters but out of the actors - Michael Weatherly :D

Kane no question

Without a doubt, Michael!! I love him:)

I'm a guy, so I wouldn't want to marry him, but if it counts I would say that Estella's character should have AT LEAST given Michael a second chance. Sure, he made a mistake, but he felt bad about it. He was so crazy after what happened, the useually smooth demeanor cracked and he couldn't speak correctly to her any more. Sure, if they would have gotten together I would feel a little bad for the other guy, but I think Michael deserved a second chance first.

christian kane all the way i mean he is soo hot why would you not chose him

I actually think that was the point of the scene at the airport with her and Tom. She might have said they wouldn't be together at all on the cruise, but anyone could see that was BS. She really wouldn't have gone with him if she wasn't leaning towards taking him back. But she was saved by her own scheme. It made her realize that he wasn't the guy for her at all, that she had only ever been in love with being in love with him. So that's why she goes home, and luckily the right guy showed up soon after.

The less a man makes declarative statements the less apt he is to look foolish in retrospect.

I Think michael is hot, but I am going to have to go for kane.

Tom! She was SO stupid for picking Paul. Ew! That guy was so gross, and his car kept breaking down. This movie is so fake. There's no way a beautiful girl who saved her virginity for so long would give it up to a loser like Paul! Especially when Tom asked her to MARRY him! She's so stupid, she could have been a virgin bride. I just don't get why they had to end the movie like that. I think in real life she would have married Tom and lived happily ever after. :D

So basically the moral of this story is: if you're an intelligent beautiful girl with good moral values and healthy self-esteem you have to settle for sub-human loser men, and if your a slut that does it with every guy that gives her the time of day she deserves the most successful sexiest guy. Which is pretty true judging from what I've seen IRL. So then what's the freaking point??! No wonder prostitution is on the increase.

I think men need to accept the fact that if a woman is not a virgin she has probably had at least 20-30 partners because that's how many a girl I know accumulated when she was seriously hunting for her husband and guess what... she's married! Her husband thinks she's only slept with one other guy, so go figure. I would say this is true for most women. I think the same is true for most 'self-made' men and maybe some born wealthy men. They go a little crazy when they get their first taste of freedom.

In general people who have plenty of experience in relationships and sex tend to end up with better spouses because they know what signs to look for and what types to avoid. So it is probably better for the individual to be experienced in sex, however is this good for society as a whole? That is a question we need to ask ourselves. I believe this increase in promiscuity will have some severe negative consequences which will result in an 1984 Orwellian world where sex is banned. This is why we need to appreciate good values, even if they are not practiced by the majority.

Tom was a jerk. He never apologized for blabbing her secret to everyone. She told him she wanted it to be special. She wanted to do it on the cruise. He does not listen and still tries to get her to bed. Then he takes the tickets and hooks up with his exgirlfriend and gets some from her. He took notes on what to say to her. Stole what Paul said, then said it wrong. Then he has the nerve to blame the whole thing on her by saying "if you would have just slept with me just once, none of this would have happened". If that was me, I would have slapped him.

Paul was not a loser or gross. So what, he had a crappy car. He understood her more than Tom did. What he said was genuine, Tom tried to copy that and failed.

This movie was unrealistic in some parts. It takes place over a two week time period. Jena and Paul were not together that much for him to be so in love with her, but then he had been alone for 3 years. I think she made the right choice. She followed her heart and not her head. She saved herself. We don't know how long she had been dating Tom. With true love, love is the only thing that matters. Not what his job is or what he drives.

20 t0 30 parterners is a bit much. I only had two before I was married. Waiting till marriage for sex would be good if both were virgins. Then they woudl be each others first and only if the marriage lasted. Sex before marriage is good also to see if you are compatible in that area.

I don't think sex would ever be banned, but good moral values should be practiced. There is nothing wrong with a female or male that is a virgin who is in thier 20's , 30's. Sex is not everything.

I'm 3 years away from 25 and I've only had 3 partners... but I'm not complaining as I'm one of a kind - I have had 3 virgins from 18 - now. What's more unusual is that I'm a girl and they were all guys... yes, I'm serious. One was 20, one was 16 (I was 18 and it was/is legal in my state), and the last one (for now? I don't know) was 19. They were all boyfriends too, so it's not like they were all one night stands (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just not my cup of tea).

I personally thought I was going to wait till marriage till my impatience got the best of me. I don't ENTIRELY regret it, but I definitely think now that if you want to stay a virgin until marriage, fine, but don't push it on anyone - I would much rather have experience myself, especially with how horrible losing my v-card was (not rape, just... awkward... to say the least).

I'm not psycho, just a little loopy.
