Estella Warren

I'm a little bit surprised not to be finding any posts about her from this movie.

I have to say she grew on me, and I rather liked her by the end, but it took a lot to get me there. For at least the first half of the movie, I never for a second was unaware that she was acting. I didn't believe her at all. And I don't even know who she is as an actress, so it wasn't like it was because I "know" her too well to believe her in the role. I've never seen her before, but from the very first scene, I think this actress made the movie seem low-budget, and very little else in the movie did, imo. I think if a better actress had been in the part, or if she had simply done a better job from the beginning as she seemed to do by the end, the whole movie would have felt higher budget.

Other than her, the only moments that seemed "low-budget" were the Adam Sandler-type humor moments (the fried chicken guy, and the midget porn comment, etc...), but I didn't even mind those so much.

Anyway. Not trying to be a hater, but just had to say my piece. I loved the movie, but I'm glad I kept watching and gave it a chance. She made me want to turn it off for the first 20 minutes, at least.


