Breaking down trailer park trash stereotypes

C'mon, this has got to be a joke, right?

Are we seriously expected to believe that these people with not only all their own teeth, but perfect, bright white smiles, good clear pimple-free skin, clean, ungreasy hair, educated, intelligent, sensitive, soulful, gentle, talented, literate, numerate people would all decide to go live out in a desert trailer park in the middle of nowhere?

Even the guy's beard was neat.

When I heard the Jerry Springer comment I had to laugh. This film is an utter joke.

Hold up, here! Agnes Bruckner kept it real by growing some zits and then pancaking her make-up on for her role in the film.

I hear she dipped her head in french fry grease. It's called method acting.

i was going to post about audreys pimples but someone beat me to it!
also, kelli garners(calista)aunt(?) in the movie looked like she was missing some teeth...and come on, justin long? is there anything attractive about that guy?!? did anyone else notice the comment that on their first date they saw breakfast at tiffany's--they named their daughter audrey after it?

"imitate a cat puking..."

One of the stereotypes about trailer parks is that once you end up in one, you never leave but two of the kids in this movie managed to somehow.

Wow, since when does any of what you listed have to do with how much people make thereby necessitating that they live in a trailer park? Or maybe they live there because they want to- such as John Corbett's character. I have had many, many friends who grew up in trailer parks and they were all of those things you listed.

'Cause we all end up in a tiny pine box, A mighty small drop in a mighty dark plot.
