Tyrese another Niedermeyer

I'm sorry...just another lazy Sunday afternoon of watching a typical Hollywood misportrayal of the militay/service academy. Am I'm wrong in thinking that Lt Cole's character is going to be fragged as soon as he joins his first platoon. Does Hollywood really think that it's correct analysis of proper military leadership traits? Who was the technical advisor? If I was his OC(officer commanding)or NA equivalent, we would have had some counceling sessions about officership. That character had no clue on how to be a leader...just what a writer/director would envision. I know it's a movie and it was entertaining in some respects, but all I could think of was the line from the Landis movie Twilight Zone..."We shouldn't have killed Lt. Niedermeyer!"
