So what was the exact point of this and what they learned in the end?

I mean I was asking the same thing on the Ghosts of the Abyss doc after watching it they just spent like 40 zillion dollars to look at grainy underwater video of old rusty metal and broken mirrors.

Although this has actaul merit I mean for any experts on the "subject" of the film which was "underwater deep sea creatures and there unknown eco systems" (I guess) so what did they exactly learn??

I mean what were they trying to "learn" in the first place. The hydrothermal vents they explored were known already at least in the some way. And the one black girl even says the shrimp they find's official name which means they were already discovered long ago. How does anything they learned have any actual merit to do with the one Saturn's moon which may have "similar" vents.

So basically- WHAT THE HELL???
