Landmark Theatres has finished with this movie.

So, unless there's another distributor to pick it up, we here in flyover territory will have to settle for DVD viewing. Apparently it just wasn't performing that well, wasn't getting butts in the seats.

I wonder if the director Michael Cuesta now wishes he'd put something in the movie that would've forced the MPAA to give it an NC-17? He already had a bit of bad-boy cachet for that rating being attached to "L.I.E.". That movie most agree did not deserve that rating, but pedophilia and male teen hustling as subjects really do make some folk sweat poop. On the other hand it gave the movie some buzz, which got it over the hump.

is that a channel? i have ifc on direct tv does that work?

It's not on regular IFC, It's on IFC's on demand Pay Per View.
IFC has all of their films that are currently in theatres available through on demand Pay Per View.
The satellite companies can not do on demand.
That's why I went back to cable from Dish Network.
That and the superior cable internet service.

This is how I saw it. Highly recommend IFC on cable, and then of course the OnDemand. Only way to fly.
