Supposedly cartoon head never speaks which is done to add menace and weirdness to his character. When moz or anyone else asks him anything he just shruggs or nods.But when china finishes with him he phones her mobile and converses with her. series 2 moz phones cartoon head to come collect the trainers and we get the impression again that he is threatening moz over the phone. I know its just not that important but just wondered why he wont speak any other time.

NO I watched that episode only the other night, I have watched Ideal on and off and am now catching up with all the episodes I haven't seen. I noticed straight away that he was talking to her. I think the knowledge he talks but we never hear it adds to his mystery. I loved that on last nights episode where it was brought up "how could he lead the triads when he wasn't chinese?" and Moz said "how do we know has anyone ever seen his face.?"

If you notice, Cartoon Head speaks to lots of the characters on the phone over the course of the series's - I think his voice is left to our imagination. Somehow, I cant imagine it matches his mask?!
It's for comedy effect, in the most recent episode he calls Psycho Paul who comments "I'm sick of the sound of your voice". Hilarious!

When CH got electrocuted from Troy's pirate radio and was laying unconscious on the floor, Moz said "I've never seen him this quiet", I just lost it.
