than as Kakihara in Ichi the Killer. with his long hair, blank expression, and coats - he looks like someone who would stalk you in an empty subway. On a side note, he reminded me a bit of Walter from Silent Hill 4.

I agree. I think he's incredibly sexy (I'm a straight woman) and its definitely to do with how he never tries to be sexy - it comes naturally to him (along with his coolness). I can imagine he'd be really embarassed to discover how many people find him attractive, and this just makes me like him even more!

shareEveryone on this thread is right, his expression was, scary, lost, blank, and so on. He's a self-made pariah that everyone wants to be with. I found him to be unnerving and so sad. In fact I cried when he touched Ryoko's tatoo. This guy is very good.
